Get in the Zone Week, 14-18 May 2012

Year 5 pupils using a stethoscope from the kits

If you want to use your kit to tie in with the Olympic and Paralympic Games programme, then we've got just the thing for you. Get In the Zone Week, 14-18 May, is a chance for you to bring excitement about the 2012 Games into your classroom, sports hall, gym or playground in the run-up to the start of the Olympic Torch Relay on 19 May.

For primary schools

Look out for your fabulous Fizzy Cole poster for your pupils to fill in once they've completed their In the Zone investigations. It's a fun way to display children's results, photos and facts about the amazing human body.

Do send us photos of your completed posters so we can share them on the site!

For secondary schools

Created to provide your students with a real-life context to learning, now's a good excuse to use the Live Data Zone. Some of the UK's top athletes - including Sir Steve Redgrave - have shared their data from the experiments. Click here to see them. Ask your students to add their own results to the handy record sheets to compare their data with athletes and students across the UK.
